This game is better than the first lego cronicls the 3 comment is so liing I think this game is is a little hard
WOW LOOKS STUPID BUT IA REALLY FUN. :) spent 4 hours with no food or water on this game
Some bad moments
The controls are awful, this game sucks really bad, waste of time
The time spent in spaceships are cool but you kind of feel useless and not really powerful. The game should focus only on space battles.
There are very few missions are characters and everything that was available I did in 20 minutes. The missions are mostly boring and there is no storyline or anything to want me to keep it or replay it. I only enjoyed the music. I dont recommend this game.
The games looks really fun to play but the controls are REALLY bad. Deleted after 30 seconds.
Although this is well animated and reasonably fun to play, I fail to see how collecting 100 holocrons (small piles of blocks meant to contain data) will help defeat the dark side if playing as the light side or vice versa.
There is a whole reality check issue here - if possession of these holocrons can defeat the opposition, why are huge numbers of them left lying arbitrarily around the landscape (and in space) for anybody to pick up by both sides?
Take the mission where you fly a starship against a Star Destroyer for example. Coming from the generation that played XWing installed from floppy disk, I am an old hand at this but suddenly I accidentally completed the mission by collecting 100 holocrons leaving the heavily damaged Star Destroyer to limp home for repairs rather than having the satisfaction of destroying an enemy capital ship - in my mind something that would be a far more significant victory than collecting a bunch of holocrons.
I could go on but I wont.
Controls are a little finicky at first - lots of falling down holes despite pressing the jump button and suddenly accelerating in the free fall missions for no reason is disconcerting (what did I press?!?) but overall not a bad game - kept me in long enough to see what happened if I completed all the light side missions on bronze level - you get to do it again on silver for even more holocrons! Dark side levels are basically the same thing with slightly different settings.
The original Yoda Chronicles had more story and back bone (which is why I am still playing it) but for anybody looking for an almost meaningless arcade romp with Star Wars and Lego to kill 5 minutes, this could well be the game for you.
Was super excited to get the new missions in the update, but now I cant log in with my lego ID? It just repeatedly tells me my password is wrong, then locks me out until I change it. Then tells me it is wrong again. After Ive changed it. Whats up with that?
New missions are similar the the original ones, thankfully only one "falling" gameplay, as those are frustrating, but none as hard as the Light Side flying mission where you target AT-STs. (While frustrating, that was definitely my favorite of the originals as you really felt like you accomplished something when you got your badge. As far as you can feel accomplished when you spend two days playing a single mission in a lego game, anyways...)
For first time players:
Fun little game, definitely a great arcade-style time waster with a lot of lego-Star Wars charm. Very short compared to standard Lego games, but these are intended to be mini-games, not a complete storyline.
Great job. Just need to check the lego ID issue.
